Dsoul studios are proud to have been around for five years and would like to celebrate that with the dancers of Melbourne by hosting a dance battle with a little twist.

The categories that will be ya’ll guys will compete in are:

• 1 VS 1 Popping/Locking
• 1 VS 1 House/Hip-hop
• 2 VS 2 Toprock/Breaking

Rules are simple, 1 minute tryout and then judges will pick out the top 16 dancers/pairs in each category.

✦So what is the twist?

In the top 8, one round with be Locking/House and next round be Popping/Hip-hop. 

In the breaking battle, one round will be toprocking while the other round will be powermoves/footwork/threading.

If you don’t feel comfortable doing the other styles you competing in it’s alright to just do one style. BUT if you do both styles you’ll have chance to get more points.
